This vintage My Little Pony is the blue version of Ember. Ember was the first baby pony and was not sold in stores. She was only available through a mail order offer in Year 2 of the My Little Pony line.
Three different colors of Ember were released, she was made in blue, pink, and lavender. This version of her has a blue body, blue hair, and blue eyes. She has no symbol on her bottom.
Ember’s hair is smooth and shiny but her mane sticks up a lot. It may have come this way, or maybe it has been trimmed. There are some bright pink marks on her body – the marks are on her cheek, ear, and legs, as shown in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th photos. Her eye paint is also scratched, shown in the 3rd photo.
Despite her well-loved condition, she’d be great for play or for a customization project.
The bottom of her hoof is marked “1984 Hasbro.”
